o Students in 4th to 8th grade put on a magnificent production of Disney’s “Cinderella Kids” which took place in front of packed audiences this past Friday and Saturday. We are so proud of all their hard work and dedication. The acting, singing and dancing were spectacular!
o Special thanks to Mr. Bill Elder and Ms. Joanna Hoty Russell for producing, designing, and directing these budding Academy actors and to all those who volunteered and helped behind the scenes.
o Thank you to all the families who came out to the Academy Summer Reading Book Fair at Barnes and Noble in Livingston yesterday, May 16th. It took effort to come out to Livingston in the rain and traffic with your busy schedules and we so appreciate your support. A good time was had by all with tons of books, summer reading titles, special drinks and the company of fellow Academy families!
o To the thirty-four families and teacher Mrs. Frith who attended and purchased books and other merchandise we say THANK YOU!!!! We’ll let you know how the in store sales went soon. In the meantime, if you were unable to come or if you forgot something please know that the online book fair goes until Monday 5/21. The Academy receives a % of the sales of ANY item you buy. In addition to summer reading titles, think about gifts for graduation, end of the school year, birthdays and Father’s Day.

HSA Parent Meeting
o Please join the HSA in a school wide parent meeting on May 22nd at 7:30PM in the school gym. We request that each family have at least one family member in attendance as we discuss plans for the 2018-2019 school year. Thank you!
Memorial Day Parade & Picnic
o Monday May 28th in New Providence. Parade starts at 10AM and our AOLP family picnic begins right after we finish marching. It’s a great event in town, come join us!
o Anyone who will be attending should RSVP. Although it is not necessary to RSVP, it would be more helpful to have an estimate of attendees so we could plan properly for the event. Volunteers are needed to help with the picnic! Please contact Mrs. Ruane at email@example.com

Robotics Team Update
o Save your empty dental items, toothpaste and boxes, empty floss containers, old toothbrushes and the packaging from the new brushes. We also collect empty Little Bites packages. Thank you for your support.
o There is a great selection of previously worn uniform items available for FREE in the H.S.A. closet in the basement of the school. Come visit the closet (you must sign in at the school’s office first). Clothes are sorted by type and neatly organized in bins
Protecting God’s Children
o All volunteers working in the school or at events with children must complete a Protecting God’s Children (PGC) workshop. It is important to get this certification completed early so that you can fully participate in volunteering.
