Program Offerings Morning and Full Day Classes For children ages 18 months to 5 years

The Academy of Our Lady of Peace Preschool program focuses on the developmental needs of preschool students, encouraging them to explore, create and learn. We have adopted teaching and learning practices from the Creative Curriculum program to support students as they learn through discovery, create artwork, conduct science experiments and play pretend. We strive to best prepare our students to have the highest level of success in Kindergarten.

The Academy of Our Lady of Peace Preschool Programs offer thematically integrated curriculum in the subject areas of math, science, language arts, social studies, religion, technology, library, Spanish, music and art. Our three year old program introduces students to colors, shapes, numbers and nursery rhymes as key content. Then, in PreK 4, students are introduced to relevant curriculum that presents readiness skills essential in the preparation for Kindergarten.

Please Join Us – Make The Academy Pledge!

The Academy of Our Lady of Peace is a Catholic elementary school. In 2020, financial responsibility for The Academy was returned from the Archdiocese of Newark to the School Board and Our Lady of Peace Parish. The Academy relies primarily on tuition to fund its operations, but tuition covers only a portion of The Academy’s operating costs. Fundraising, led by the Home School Association (HSA) and The Academy of Our Lady of Peace Foundation, plays a critical role in covering expenses not handled by tuition. Since 2010, the Foundation has helped families and students in financial need. Sponsored by the Foundation, The Academy Pledge is a three-year gift toward a $500,000 goal. All Foundation proceeds are used for the benefit of The Academy and its students. The Foundation operates with minimal administrative expenses. Donations are tax-deductible, as The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Working together, we can ensure that this gift of Catholic education within our community will be available for current and future generations. The Academy’s students, parents, teachers and staff – all of us – are grateful for your generosity.   PLEDGE https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdLDRzaqpViz9aRHpSFj_iSn7BBewiTReHDuogEw9RACO4zOQ/viewform
