· Family Fun Night

o Join us on FRIDAY – November 9th from 6-9PM in the AOLP Gym. Bingo, DJ, and fun activities provided for the entire family. Bring a dish to share. Nut Free please! $20 per family donation requested to assist with the activities we provide. Dear Families, The Academy Library will be selling used books at Family Fun Night tomorrow evening. Most books will cost .25 cents. Please bring your quarters and your appetite for reading. All proceeds will be used to buy new books for the library.

· Christmas in a Box Tag Day

o On Thursday, November 15th, students are invited to join in a tag day as part of the Christmas in a Box gift drive. All proceeds from this tag day will be used for the Horizon School families. Suggested donation is $5. Wear RED and GREEN to celebrate our faith in action. Thank you!

· Tricky Tray Family Donation

o Please send in your family’s $75 Tricky Tray donation by November 16th if you did not pay it at registration. Thank you for your support. Tricky Tray is the Academy’s largest fundraiser and we use these funds to purchase raffle items and gift baskets.

· AOLP Open House

o Our Fall open house is November 11th at 10AM.

· Tricky Tray Volunteers Needed for Soliciting Businesses

o Volunteers are needed to solicit businesses for donations for baskets and raffles for our annual Tricky Tray fundraiser. Tricky Tray is our largest fundraiser! If you have connections to area businesses or are willing to help us reach out to businesses for donations please reach out to Kerry Flood at kerry@npfloods.com

· Shop Gift Cards for sale and support the Academy!

o Buy those gift cards for birthday gifts, stocking stuffers and your everyday shopping needs! The Academy will receive a % back on sales.

· Robotics Team Update

o The Robotics Club is now selling Philadelphia hot pretzels at lunch time on Thursdays. The treats will cost $1.00. This is for Thursdays only.

o Turn your trash into our treasures! Mrs. Tyler is collecting the following items for Art: plastic bottle caps of all sizes and colors, empty Lysol/Clorox wipe containers, and buttons that you don’t need! Please send them in to school. Thank you!

o Please remember to also support our no cost fundraisers. Save your empty dental items, toothpaste and boxes, empty floss containers, old toothbrushes and the packaging from the new brushes. We also collect empty Little Bites packages. There are containers in the hallway by the Pre-K 4 rooms to drop the items off.

· Protecting God’s Children

o All volunteers working in the school or at events with children must complete a Protecting God’s Children (PGC) workshop. It is important to get this certification completed early so that you can fully participate in volunteering. · Uniform Swap

o There is a great selection of previously worn uniform items available for FREE in the H.S.A. closet in the basement of the school. Come visit the closet (you must sign in at the school’s office first). Clothes are sorted by type and neatly organized in bins.
