o Thank you to Denise Reece and Sandy Slattery for organizing a wonderful, celebratory night out at the Westin Governor Morris. We had great attendance to celebrate the Academy’s 65 years. Thank you to all who were able to attend!
Upcoming HSA Meeting
o Join the HSA Board for an open meeting on October 10th at 7:30PM in the gym where we will discuss plans for the school year.
o Volunteer signups for the school year events will be available – learn about all the events we host and how to get involved!
Poster Designer Needed!

Robotics Team Update
o The Robotics Club is selling ice cream/ice pops. The treats will cost $1.00. This is for Thursdays only.
o Please remember to also support our no cost fundraisers. Save your empty dental items, toothpaste and boxes, empty floss containers, old toothbrushes and the packaging from the new brushes. We also collect empty Little Bites packages. Thank you for your support.

Protecting God’s Children
o All volunteers working in the school or at events with children must complete a Protecting God’s Children (PGC) workshop. It is important to get this certification completed early so that you can fully participate in volunteering. o We appreciate each family contributing $25/per student to fund the various HSA activities throughout the school year. Please send in your donation to the school office as soon as you are able to.
o There is a great selection of previously worn uniform items available for FREE in the H.S.A. closet in the basement of the school. Come visit the closet (you must sign in at the school’s office first). Clothes are sorted by type and neatly organized in bins.
