The Academy of Our Lady of Peace is a Catholic school serving students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8. Since 1954, we have been dedicated to providing an exceptional faith-based education where faith, learning and fun go hand in hand!

We are proud to serve families from New Providence and the surrounding communities of Berkeley Heights, Summit, Mountainside, Chatham, and North Plainfield.

Preschool Program

The Academy of Our Lady of Peace Preschool program focuses on the developmental needs of preschool students, encouraging them to explore, create and learn. We have adopted teaching and learning practices from the Creative Curriculum program to support students as they learn through discovery, create artwork, conduct science experiments and play pretend. We strive to best prepare our students to have the highest level of success in Kindergarten.

We offer thematically integrated curriculum in the subject areas of math, science, language arts, social studies, religion, technology, library, Spanish, music and art.

All programs have a half day (8:15 am – 11:45 am) and a full day (8:15 am – 2:45 pm) option. Aftercare is available for all students until 6:30 pm. Please call for pricing information or visit our tuition page.

Elementary School

Our elementary school provides a nurturing, faith-filled environment where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
